In this hands-on activity sponsored by Eden Health, children and families are invited to create a special ornament that captures the magic of the season.

Members of the​​ Kelso Music Booster and Kelso Kilties will wrap purchases by donation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Body Rock Dance Space, 1317 Hemlock St., Longview.

Help continue this holiday event for years to come by purchasing a keepsake Downtowners ornament at participating locations during the event.

After Whispers of Winter, watch Longview's Downtown Holiday Parade presented by the Cowlitz PUD, then return to the business district for dinner. The 42nd annual parade starts at 5 p.m. at Commerce and Fir and ends about a mile later in the Civic Circle for the Kelso-Longview Chamber of Commerce tree lighting.
